Refinements 2

I believe I am getting better as I get through these second sets. I am liking the one line and behavioral, but I am finding the other materials and texture difficult. I don't know why particularly, but, nonetheless, it is difficult to find the texture of a shell that isn't a shell.

Refinements and Second Set

There are a lot of different aspects of different sketches that I am noticing in the sketches. Just from the different painterly and gestural sketches, I have noticed the thick and thin lines and am trying to incorporate that into my new refinements and future refinements to come.

Comment on assignment 1

As we are starting to make the people in the symbols, I am noticing that they can be very expressive and indictive of certain things. I know that I am noticing certain aspects of things I like as I draw.

First Semester

Starting this new year, I realize it is time for me to bring out the old blog once again. I still have trouble remembering to put things up on this, but maybe with time, it will become second nature. Anyway, currently I am working on my animal project for VISCOM and I'm am thinking I will select the nautilus. Still a work in progress, but I think it has a lot of potential.
